Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Apart from her beautiful beauty, her continued success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as a performer. She began modeling in the 1970s. She soon became one the top models. She studied acting and theatre towards the beginning of the decade, before starring on stages in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1989 drama Sable In the show, she appeared as Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. The consistency of her performance has won over the critics, who initially were unsure regarding her talents as an actress. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was a favorite of the critics as she stood up to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She claims that she never had a passion in acting. After a lengthy break, she self-imposed in 2005. Then, she made her return in Thor. Her husband's Oscar-winning movie Nightcrawler was one of her roles. The Intern was her first light-hearted comedy. The actress went on to be a part of Just Getting Started and other comedies.
Rose Namajunas was one of the top female athletes in the UFC. She started out as an amateur fighter who participated in regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since joining the UFC the fighter has quickly been a household name thanks to her accomplishments both inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas was born June 29 on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing throughout her growing into a young woman. Her first appearance professionally when she was 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she managed to win two bouts by submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was admitted to the UFC's strawweight class at the end of December 2014, when she was just 22 years old. Rose has had highs & lows during her professional career. But she has always come out the winner. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion and was also named the Fighter of The Night. It was the first time that a female was able to fight a big promotion to win a championship. Namajunas was able to win several bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
